Welcome to The Glass City

"My words echo
Thus, in your mind.

But to what purpose
Disturbing the dust on a bowl of rose-leaves
I do not know.
Other echoes
inhabit the garden. Shall we follow?

Herein lie catacombs and palaces, bees and chalices, the sublime and the profane-- laid forever to rest, and not to be hereafter disturbed, thank you. Herein lies my blood and bone, wrapped in tarps and white-sheets, guraded over by picks and shovels, the dust of excavation and the tones of home.

In other wits, this place, which you have now discovered, which I am un-displaying like so many splayed limbs, is becoming Something Else, which you have not seen before.

Sorry for the inconvenience. But not really.

I'm sure you'll wait, with your breath in your throat and your fingers in your little noses, till I have completed this Changing Thing. Like a good little supplicant monkey.
